We reach Yoga's aim when we accept ourselves fully. We created conditions where the truth might be heard through challenging asana (posture), vinyasa (breath and movement), spiritual insight, pranayama (breath exercise), meditation, music, and humor. Drawing on Daniel's extensive yoga practice and training in many styles - including Jivamukti, Astanga, and Iyengar - creativity and spontaneity, we create classes that are eclectic, fun, inspiring and uplifting. The retreat setting allows for plenty of guidance, in morning and afternoon yoga sessions.

Anahata Villas and Spa Resort is a luxurious retreat for mind, body and soul, located minutes from Ubud, perched amidst luscious tropical forests overlooking the Petanu River. Anahata, the Sanskrit word for the heart chakra, love, compassion and harmony, elegantly combines modern design, traditional Balinese architecture and tropical paradise. Each villa houses three bedrooms with private bathrooms, one superior and two deluxe, kitchen, communal living area, and private plunge pool facing scenic natural vistas. Visit Anahata Resort at www.anahataresort.com.

The island of the gods, Bali and her people is a culture Yoga International magazine describes as 'living yoga.' Spirituality, harmony with nature, peacefulness - these elements embody the Balinese way of life. Ubud, an artist's Mecca, is the cultural heart of Bali. Embedded in rice terraces, temples and powerful energy, at a slight elevation so cooler than the nearby coastal heat, Ubud's climate has turned it into the perfect tropical destination.

Exquisite organic gourmet living foods prepared by Simone Powers. Certified as a raw food chef and instructor at the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, she trained under some of the top raw food chefs in the world and is currently the dessert chef at an award-winning Living Foods restaurant in San Francisco.
Warning: eight days of gourmet, high vibration live food, along with everything else on this retreat, may launch you into a state of bliss, vibrancy and energy previously unknown to you. Fresh daily coconuts, tropical fruits, organic salads and raw desserts are the ideal nourishment for the radiant lifestyle.
For most of us, what we eat affects how we feel. Happily we've discovered that the healthiest food is also the tastiest. We eat the best food ever - yummy, alive, strong - just in case we are what we eat.
